Biathalon Coming To Wii

December 4th, 2008 Posted in News, Sports, Wii by Will Prusik

The Olympics has a wide range of events that people love to watch. Many of them are brief, exciting events or displays of grace and agility such as swimming, gymnastics, figure skating and skiing. Some events are considered rather boring and go relatively unnoticed. Not many people are interested in Olympic curling, long distance running or archery.

One of the most unusual events is the Biathlon, which is a mix of cross country skiing and shooting. It’s going to get a little recognition now though as Conspiracy Entertainment has announced that they’re releasing “Ski and Shoot”, a Wii game that is designed to use both the Wiimote and the balance board.

The game will feature both single player and multiplayer modes, with an extensive career mode that allows you to compete against other digital athletes in the Pro League or challenge your friends to this most unusual of Olympic Events.
