Burnout Paradise Demo to Offer Full Game Experience

In anticipation of the PC release of Burnout Paradise, its open-world racer, Criterion has revealed that instead of offering a playable demo, they will offer the entire game, complete with online multiplayer, for free through a limited trial.

“We want all our PC players to be sure it runs perfectly on their system, before they commit to buying it,” writes the developer on its site. “But there’s a lot of game to show you.”

“So rather than restricting what you can do, we’re letting you play through the start of the full game for a limited period…You can go anywhere in Paradise City and check out everything on offer,” the post continues, additionally noting that all in-game events will be available.

No restrictions were specified, but it will undoubtedly offer a glimpse to hopeful buyers of the game. It will be available via Criterions and EAs website come February 2009, as well as through millions of disks.
