Unconfirmed: EA Cancels Future NFS Projects

Seeing as how poorly the franchise has been doing lately, it comes as no surprise that Electronic Arts has cancelled development of future projects in the Need for Speed franchise. This news comes through an unconfirmed report by The Electric Playground, with the site admitting that they have received no official confirmation of this from EA.
The recent NFS titles have not sold as much as EA had expected, and the last two titles ProStreet and Undercover have not been liked well by critics either. More on this story as it develops.
