Donate for Lukemia and get a lifetime WoW subscription

December 29th, 2008 Posted in PC by Jeff Baker

One of the main gripes about World of Warcraft other than it’s uncanny ability to completely take over your life is the $15 a month subscription fee. Well, a new stunt to get people to donate may waive that fee indefinitely.

Apparently, a Blizzard employee by the name of Katherine Allen set up a donation page for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Socieity which allows you to pledge however much money you want to the cause. However, to be entered into the drawing for the lifetime subscription of WoW, you must donate at least $25.

Originally Katherine planned on passing out 3 1-year subscription cards and said if the donations succeeded $5,500 she would personally pay for the winners subscription for life. Well as of writing this article the donations are currently at $16,758.

So what are you waiting for? Get donating!
