Many gamers have been waiting silently for more Left 4 Dead content, but so far Valve has remained quiet. However, the company was supposed to make an announcement before Christmas, which somehow never materialized, according to Shacknews.
The site reports that Valve writer Chet Faliszek confirmed that an upcoming download would add new scenarios which would be released on PC and Xbox 360 simultaneously. It would also add Versus support to the Dead Air and Death Toll campaigns; this would finally allow players to experience all four campaigns of the game in the fun competitive mode.
Faliszek wouldn’t reveal more, adding that this content would be the “first out – after that, I hate to speculate.” No pricing details were given, though it is expected to be free for PC owners, with Xbox 360 gamers having to cough up cash thanks to Microsoft’s greed.
