Microsoft: 28 millions Xbox 360s sold
After announcing record Euro Christmas sales, Microsoft has announced that they sold 28 million Xbox 360 consoles to date. Furthermore, there are over 17 million players on Xbox Live. The company also revealed that since the launch of the Xbox 360, players have spent more than one billion dollars on Xbox Live content, and that there were over 1.5 million “concurrent” users online between Christmas and New Years eve.
In comparison, Nintendo’s Wii has sold just over 40 million, while the PS3 is at around 20 million units sold worldwide.

I was happy with my new digital frame and all, but now I wish I also had an xbox. This is a good day for Microsoft to make a killig on selling these systems. well done.
