Midway gets a life extension (for a month)

Midway is in deep financial trouble, until now, the company had until January 19 to pay back some of it’s massive 150 million dollar debt to bond owners — this deadline has now been extended to February 19, 2009.

Back in December, the developer/publisher closed it’s Austin studio and simultaneously cut their workforce by 25% — some 180 jobs.
