Earlier this week, an analyst at Wedbush Morgan predicted that Sony would be dropping the price of the Playstation 3 by $100. Aaron Greenberg, director of product management for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live, is confident that they will remain on top even if the PS3 does get a price drop.

“We’re not too worried about it,” said Greenberg. “Our belief is we will be able to continue to deliver more entertainment … at a better value even if they dropped by $100. We would still maintain a price advantage.”

The Xbox 360 Arcade currently retails for $199.99, while the 80GB Playstation 3 retails for $399.99
