Unreal Tournament 3 Goes Steam-Crazy
January 30th, 2009 Posted in Action, FPS, Multiplayer, PC

Bracing itself for the large Unreal Tournament 3 patch that is due out soon, Valve today enabled free Steam registration for the game.
The registration is a simple matter of entering the CD key in Steam’s activation menu. Any CD key should be eligible for activation, including versions of the game purchased from other digital distribution services. However, the activation will require a new installation of the game, so if you don’t want hard drive bloat, be sure to uninstall your old version first.
The update will bring over 50 Steamworks Achievements, as well as new features and enhancements in AI, mod support, server browsing and more.

I purchased UT3 for PC when it was released, I have a rig that can more then supports it. This game sucks a.., I sold my copy on ebay for about $10 less then what I paid for it and felt lucky to get that.
Face it UT3 flopped and is by far one of the worst FPS games ever released.
I have been a loyal UT fan since day one and I have loved the series but this was a big disappointment.
What made me mad was the lies and disrespect they have shown there customers and supporters.
This Titanic pack is a way for them to try and make up there losses and as far as I am concerned they can take it and shove it.
I just purchased F.E.A.R 2 and yes it did have some problems but this game signal or MP is by far much better then UT3.
My advise to anyone looking to purchase UT3 because of there Epic’s Deming attempt to apologize with this so called “Titan Pack” forget it.

its true ut3 is beyond words horrible.
i even tried the recent install with steam updates and all. its still just as bad, now its 9.3gb. how the hell can you make a game that large and have it suck so bad?
try to post or ask anything about it on their forums and they delete it. servers still mostly empty btw, hardly any on the list and hardly any have players.
this really should go down in gaming history.
