February 3rd, 2009 Posted in Console, PlayStation 3, Portable, Wii, Xbox 360 by Jeff Baker

For those of you who remember Westwood Studios, creators of the increasingly popular Command & Conquer series, before EA scooped them up and closed the studio in 2003, this news is for you.

It seems that co-founder Brett Sperry, along with some other ex-Westwooders, have moved onto a new venue called Jet Set Games. No, this doesn’t mean some kind of crazy new Command & Conquer games are on the way as it was announced the new studio is going to focus all of their attention on the 360, PS3, Wii, and iPhone. &

Let’s hope the games involving blowing something up, I mean taking 1 look at the above logo might lead people to believe they are a childrens game studio. Boy I hope not.

Head over to their official website for more info.
