L4D Survival Pack, SDK Coming

Valve today announced plans to release a “Survival Pack” for Left 4 Dead this spring. The new content will include a new multiplayer mode called Survival, as well as two complete campaigns for the game’s existing Versus mode.

No release date or pricing details were given. It should be pointed out Valve traditionally updates its PC releases for free.

The studio also noted it will release the SDK for the game this spring. The SDK will allow players to create custom campaigns and levels for the game.
