The Oregon Trail for iPhone

February 18th, 2009 Posted in Adventure, Apple

I remember playing The Oregon Trail on those old Macs back in elementary school with all of it’s black-and-white, pixely goodness. Shoot the buffalos if you run low on food, mourne over the dead, playing as the doctor everytime because he had the most money. Those were the good days.

Well, the times have certainly changed with a version of The Oregon Trail making its way to the iPhone thanks to the App Store.

Players will embark on a journey from Michigan, to Oregon, using the iPhones touch screen and accelerometer to master the 6 minigames throughout.

The Oregon Trail is being developed by Gameloft, for the iPhone and will hit the App Store at the end of this month.
