Resident Evil 5 to get multplayer via DLC

March 13th, 2009 Posted in DLC, Multiplayer, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360

I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve never really been a fan of the Resident Evil series. When Resident Evil 5 was announced to not include multiplayer functionality I was almost positive it wouldn’t be added to my collection.

However, Capcom recently announced that the game will in fact be getting multiplayer thanks to a downloadable content pack that will be available a “few weeks after Resident Evil 5 is available”.

Entitled “Versus”, the new game mode will give up to 4 players the chance to duke it out against eachother in a point based Slayer variation, or player vs. player Survivor variation.

Again, the pack will be available a few weeks after Resident Evil 5’s March 13th release date and will cost 400 Microsoft Points or about $5.
