DropSum Colours Review–Multi-Leveled Fun

March 17th, 2009 Posted in Casual, Free, Offbeat, Online, PC, Puzzle, Reviews by Steve Anderson

So while back at Newgrounds, looking over the latest batch of games to emerge, I caught sight of  DropSum Colours, one of those fun little matching pairs games with a bit of a twist.

DropSum Colours offers two versions of itself–one a standard game where you attempt to match pairs of colors on a field of multicolored dots, and the other in which you do the same, the only difference being that each tile is labelled with a number.  This number represents the number of turns in which the tile will explode, ending your game.  But each time you drop a tile down, the collision increases the tile’s number by one, giving you just a little extra time to dispose of it.

As a puzzle game, this sucker’s top-notch, with plenty of replay value.  It’s great for a fast game between meetings or phone calls or what have you, and you’ll get plenty of fun out of it too.
