Modern Warfare 2 not so Call of Duty

When I was initially viewing the teaser trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 I didn’t take much notice that Call of Duty wasn’t included in the title.
Well, it seems that Infinity Ward did this on purpose, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be known as simply Modern Warfare 2. There’s not details on why the Call of Duty moniker was dropped by given Call of Duty 4’s success, it definitly deserves it’s own title.
Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2 is set to hit shelves on November 10th of this year.
