MotionPlus for Virtua Tennis 2009 confirmed

Sega confirmed today that Virtua Tennis 2009 will be taking advantage of the Wii MotionPlus technology. The accessory will allow players to have more responsive and accurate control of the game. In this case, players will be able to control their tennis racket more accurately.

How Virtua Tennis will compare to EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis will be interesting, but I’ll be rooting for Sega’s creation, only because the past games have been received so well.

Virtua Tennis 2009 will be hitting the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and PC on May 19th.
