11-year old kills 9-year old brother over video game arguement

Here’s a story that will raise some eyebrows concerning gun control — It seems that an 11-year old boy from northern Mississippi was playing with a computer game with his younger 9-year old brother whom he proceeded to beat pretty badly.
The discouraged 9-year old then proceeded to get their fathers shotgun which resulted in the two boys struggling to gain control of the shotgun. During the struggle the gun evidentally went off and hit the younger boy in the chest killing him.
This is truly a sad story but I wonder, what game were they playing and how badly did the younger boy get beaten that he felt the need to kill his older brother? And why didn’t the parents hide their gun?

This is the only question worth asking. These parents have a gun in their house, loaded, unlocked, and easily accessed along with two very young children.
Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. If it wasn’t over a video game then this would have happened over something else. Guns are VERY fascinating to youngsters, especially young males.

That Dumb Fuck of a 9 year old deserved it. I mean the fucking retard got a shotgun and threatend to kill the 11year old bro cause he beat him a video game!! Im glad he died. 1 less retarded fuck to worry about.

I agree with john that 9 year old deserved to die, he overreacted and got a shot gun cause he beat him at a video game! He truely deserved to die.

I don’t believe a 9 year old deserves to die over his temper tantrum. What kind of person are you to say such a thing? This revolves around parenting, indefinitely. At 9 years old, the boy should have his own sense of moral rights and wrongs, yet at the same time he WAS still a young child…and it is doubtful how fully developed those senses are. What kind of parent leaves a LOADED shotgun laying around? Pathetic, really. It’s not like you leave cyanide or phosphoric acid lying around for your children to ingest. And about the whole “1 less retarded fuck to worry about”. It’s almost regretful that the parent didn’t find the end of that barrel first.
