Halo 3 gets Double XP weekend for July 4th

It seems that Bungie has followed Treyarch and Epic’s examples with Double XP weekends for Gears of War 2 and CoD: WaW, respectively, and announced the same for Halo 3.

This event begins today and runs until 2AM Monday and will require the Heroic, Legendary and Mythic map packs to participate.

Common developers, now’s your chance, anymore Double XP weekends we need to hear about?

    Um, I could be mistaken but hasn’t Halo3 had double XP weekends every weekend for like, the last year? In fact, u say ‘like CoD and Gow2′ but I believe they actually followed Bungie’s example.

    Lil bit more research maybe? Just a thought….
