250 GB PS3 Slim finally confirmed

September 24th, 2009 Posted in Business, Hardware, Industry, PlayStation 3 by Mark Briggs

Sony has finally confirmed the tons of rumors recently circulating that all indicated a 250 GB PlayStation 3 slim — however, the confirmation so far is only for the Australian market. A new PS3 slim bundle will include a 250 GB hard dive, with one of the following titles bundled with it: Uncharted 2, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, Singstar Motown or EyePet. The new bundle will launch on October 15 and will retail for $600 AUD, or $520 USD.

Sony will most likely introduce similar offers (with a 250 GB) hard drive in the US and Europe, most likely at a $399 price point.
