WoW movie written by Saving Private Ryan writer

The upcoming WoW movie, helmed by Spider-man director Sam Raimi, will be written by Robert Rodat, who wrote the excellent war drama Saving Private Ryan. However, since Ryan, Rodat (IMDB link) has only written one film in the last ten years, The Patriot. Seems like he’s looking to “get back in the game”. The WoW movie is set to go into production next year, with a 2011 release in mind.
