New Zelda for Wii not committed for 2010

November 8th, 2009 Posted in Action, Adventure, Nintendo, RPG, Rumor

We first heard about the new Zelda game for Wii at the 2009 E3 expo, where Shigeru Miyamoto himself unveiled the news. Now Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has refused to confirm the game for 2010 in an interview with GameTrailers TV, saying “We haven’t committed to Zelda in 2010″.

Nintendo is known for delaying their highly anticipated titles like Zelda and Mario, but in the end, it has often resulted in a better overall product. Let’s hope it’s the same with the next Zelda, even if we have to wait until 2011.

I’m not surprised at all to hear this, it might come out in 2010, and it might not.

Either way I want it to just come out when its finished, and not rushed. If that means 2011 that’s fine with me, next year has Galaxy 2 and a new Metroid.
