Tony Hawk speaks on Kelly Slater’s Pro Surfer
If you’ve been around for a while you may remember Kelly Slater’s Pro Surfer, a surfing title from Activision for the PS2, GamCube, Xbox and various other consoles. And, if you were a fan of the game you may have noticed that there were never any sequels which may have left you a bit discouraged, but don’t worry as Tony Hawk feels the same way.
In the same GameSpot interview that he talked about a Tony Hawk Ride sequel, Mr. Hawk said the following:
“I think that the first priority, beyond skateboarding, would be snowboarding because that would lend itself [to the board] a little bit easier [than other genres], and beyond that I’d love to do a surfing game. I always thought that Kelly Slater’s [Pro Surfer] was an underrated title for the PlayStation 2. I thought that people didn’t really give it the attention it deserved.”
So, does this mean a possible sequel? If so, they will unfortunately use the board peripheral from Tony Hawk Ride which hasn’t exactly recieved the best reception.
