Final Fantasy XIII pushes 450,000 on day one
March 10th, 2010 Posted in PlayStation 3, RPG, Sales, Xbox 360 by Jeff Baker

Those doubting the fact that the RPG genre is still alive and well can lay their doubts to rest. Final Fantasy 13 has been on store shelves in North America for just one day and already 450,000 copies have been sold. Sales were divided into 290,000 on the PS3 and 160,000 on the Xbox 360.
Make note, these numbers are from day one only. We’ll keep you posted again at the end of the week to tell you how the game did in its first week on store shelves. Anyone want to make bets?
