This can only add to the criticism that Valve and Steam should be separated into different companies. But don’t count on that any time soon.

While it’s okay with a cheap DLC, it seems a bit too early. We’re in the process of reviewing the game (review coming soon!), and we’ve already strolled through some 30 hours of gameplay. It’s not like the game is light on content as it is.

However, it won’t include the hit song “Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked“, which has been featured in the game and its promo material. Bummer.

The DLC includes 3 “custom and fully-tuned” variants of the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, and is available now for download to all Xbox Live Gold members.

I don’t know about you guys but my favorite mode in Call of Duty: World at War is none other than Nazi Zombies. Sure, the other modes are cool but there’s nothing like being locked in a room with a never ending supply of zombies to destroy. However, the only problem with this is that only PS3, Xbox 360 or PC gamers could get down on the fun.

Today, Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies has hit the App Store for the iPhone and iPod touch allowing for the zombie slaying game play we’ve all come to know and love on a handheld platform. The gave will allow for 4 player WiFi or 2 player Bluetooth multiplayer gameplay with Achievements, Leaderboards and future support for DLC.

The news was broken by Craig Fairbrass, the guy who does the voice for Ghost, saying that there are talks about a “little game about Ghost”. Which might just mean a DLC only title sometime in the future. You never know. Especially considering how far Activision is willing to go to milk every penny out of their titles.

With the release of RedLynx’ Trials motor cross game, the developer hurried and uploaded its own game to popular BitTorrent sites, with one feature missing from the game: leaderboards. RedLynx then hoped that the pirates would love the game and miss leaderboards so much that they went out and bought the game.

Did it work? Well, they don’t really know, but there’s definitely a lot of folks playing Trials without leaderboards, that’s for sure.

In The Ballad Of Gay Tony, you play as Luis Lopez, a nightclub manager and Tony Prince’s — aka. Gay Tony — business partner. Gay Tony, who’s gay in the most extravagant fashion, owns a few nightclubs and the biggest gay club in town, and when a deal goes bad, he sends you to recover some stolen diamonds — the same diamonds that were mentioned in GTA 4 and Lost and Damned — making you progress through mission by mission, GTA 4 style, on a hunt.

The missions in The Ballad Of Gay Tony are far more over the top than in GTA 4 and the previous episode, you’ll be shooting down helicopters from moving trains, blowing up a group of crooked cops and even helicopter dog fights — where your helicopter is made of gold. Yep, quite over the top. You’ll actually be blowing up plenty of stuff in the game, there’s far more action and large set pieces than in previous games, you’ll even get to drive an armored personnel carrier this time, with a sweet 20mm chain gun that obliterates everything in your path. On top of that, you gotta do your regular job, which is to manage clubs, and there’s even a mini-game where you can shake it on the dance floor, which, as you might expect, is pretty darn boring compared to the real missions.

However, there seems to be a lack of consistency with the missions, you’ll go from a few awesome high-octane missions to some that can be categorized as the most boring of both episodes. There are some good additions to the gameplay though, for instance, every time you complete a mission, you get a score, and when you’ve completed the game, you can go back and try to beat that score, which adds some replayability to the game — more than the previous editions. It’s also worth mentioning that the game includes a ton of content, missions and side missions, far more than one might expect from a DLC.

Technically, the game is up to par with the other GTA 4 games, and that means the visuals are beginning to showing their age. The character animations look dated and the visuals still feature low res textures and some popping here and there. The music and voice acting are top notch, GTA 4 quality as you might expect, and the game runs pretty smooth throughout. On the multiplayer side, there isn’t much addition, unfortunately, as this looks to be a very single-player focused episode. In conclusion, GTA 4: The Ballad of Gay Tony will most definitely satisfy GTA 4 fans, and you won’t be disappointed with the last installment in the series. Also, we finally get to know what happened to those darn diamonds.

If you’re looking to pick up Modern Warfare 2 via Steam on November 10th, you may want to consider altenative options. The game’s Steam listing was updated with a release date of November 13th, 2009 as you can see above.

While there is a chance that this could be an error, there is also a chance that this may be true so you’ll have to be careful which method you use to purchsae the game if you want to get it on release.

As for the rest of us, we’ll still be able to get Modern Warfare 2 on November 10th.

Well zombie slaying fans, the demo for Valve’s highly anticipated Left 4 Dead 2 has finally made its way onto Xbox Live and is available for all to download.

Don’t think you’ll be able to hop on and play instantly as the demo weighs in at a hefty 1.69GB. Then again, you can start the demo and pop in Dawn of the Dead to get you in the mood until its done, right?

Left 4 Dead 2 will be out on November 19th for the Xbox 360 and PC.

If you’re reading in the forums and you’re reading about the “Miracle” DLC or whatever, that’s test code. To get tested through Microsoft certification we had to do test scenarios with DLC. We haven’t actually come out internally with what we’re going to do yet.

Seeing that Left 4 Dead has received DLC packs, there’s no indication that the sequel won’t. After all, DLCs are big business, just look at Bethesda and Fallout 3.

The PC version will support 3D monitors, so you can indulge yourself into even more gore, and will retail for only $30 when released next week. Unfortunately, the release is for North America only.

If you pre-order the box, you’ll not only get to download a demo of the game, but you’ll also get a free copy of District 9 on Blu-ray. Now that’s a pre-order deal!

GTA 4 fans will be happy to hear that Rockstar has unleashed the game’s latest DLC pack ‘The Ballad of Gay Tony’ onto Xbox Live for 1600 Microsoft Points. Now, I bought the first DLC pack and wasn’t very satisfied with spending the $20 but Gay Tony looks to be a lot better.
