Leaked game play footage of Star Wars: Battlefront III has surfaced. The footage was supposedly taken in November internal alpha meeting with the game’s former developer, Free Radical, in November. The quality is not exactly crystal clear, but this is one hell of a treat for fans who have been waiting for a sequel since [...]

Turbine, Inc. has released a new trailer for The Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria. It is the first expansion for The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. In addition to the new content, the game’s level cap will be raised to level 60. Moria is set to be released on [...]
While not exactly groundbreaking by any means, the opening cinematic for the Wii exclusive, Disaster: Day of Crisis is effective non the less. I’m also fairly certain that this is the first time that there has been any “in engine” footage. The game is out in Japan, and the American release date has yet to [...]
A very well done CG trailer for Ensemble Studios’, or the former Ensemble Studios rather, Halo Wars has made its way onto the internet. The trailer is basically the back story for Halo Wars. Without giving a way too much, the humans are investigation a bunch of Covenant which are digging something out of some [...]
While it might have taken a while, the Wii has a title that is focusing on delivering an experience for core gamers. High Voltage Studios’ The Conduit employs several graphical techniques that are often only used while referring to a Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 title. In case using the words “Wii” and “graphics” in [...]
Mad World is a highly stylized, over the top, Wii game which is more or less about violence. Today a new trailer was released. As the video shows, the game only has three colors, pure black, pure white, and blood red. No grays, no browns, just true black and white with a certain bodily fluid [...]
Some people just can’t get their heads out of the console wars. Apparently playing a unique exclusive doesn’t help. A player with the PSN tag “Redbullracer” made a Little Big Planet level showing how he views the console differences. I guess he’s calling out the Xbox community to try to make Forged map on Halo [...]
The beauty of teasers is that the less they reveal, the more room there is for speculation. The more speculation there is, the more rumors pop up. More rumors will, more or less, lead to more hype.
Finally, after the removal from Microsoft’s E3 conference, which was atrociously handled , Bungie has began the trickle [...]
Isn’t it interesting when comparing concept art and early demonstrations of games to the final product? Often the change is very drastic. Just look at the first video of Spore. In the case of Mirror’s Edge, however, it doesn’t seem like they changed the game that much. They simply removed guns (or at least lowered [...]
You know what would be interesting? A YouTube video that was innovative, and was never done before. Without giving away too much, some clever person at Nintendo managed to accomplish just that with a new ad for Wario Land Shake It. It is, with out a doubt, worth the minute or so of loading, so [...]
Remember that amazing looking game that Nintendo gave a brief glance of during their 2006 E3 press conference? The one that showed that, at least back then, Nintendo truly cared about a balance in casual as well as core titles? A little game called Disaster: Day of Crisis, which until August, was feared to have [...]

I must admit, when I first heard about Mega Man 9 being made in a classic 8-bit style I was apprehensive about the design choice. After watching this opening cinematic, I still have my doubts. That said, the game does have a definite nostalgic appeal, reminiscent of the Virtual Console games.
Mega Man 9 is slated [...]
