Suzuki Xbox 360 Will Let You Play While Driving

We all love gaming but do we love gaming to such an extent that we have to install gaming consoles inside our cars? And I can understand the passengers can be bored after a six hour journey but why would the driver need that Xbox 360 controller?
Why did they choose an Xbox? Well it’s cheaper than the PS3 and the Wii would be really inappropriate right? The car features two Xbox 360, two projectors, two screens and more controllers. Would you want your car to be transformed into something horrible like this Suzuki?

SKIGYM Simulator Will Bring Sports to Your Living Room

If you hate going to the gym but would still like to work out we have a complicated solution for you. It’s complicated since it’s really expensive and potentially dangerous, but nevertheless, it should be fun. The SKIGYM simulator is a gadget which claims to be able to improve your skiing abilities while you workout using it.
You can either plug it into your PC and play the Alpine Ski Racing game or use it as a standalone exercise platform. Now that you have the facts you should have the price too. It will cost you just about $2,300 to get one. Or you could always go for Ski lessons.

Couple Arrested Over Gift Brawl
If you celebrate the Christmas tradition of giving brightly wrapped gifts then chances are you’ve gotten a few bad ones here and there. I had a relative who never understood that at age sixteen I wasn’t terribly interested in the Power Rangers anymore. I once received a can of WD-40, probably my most surreal gift of all time. One couple from New Hampshire found their Christmas day ruined by what seems like it wouldn’t be a bad gift at all.
Randi Young purchased a brand new Nintendo Wii for her boyfriend, twenty-six year old Heath Blom. When that fateful day arrived he unwrapped it, hoping for a remote-controlled airplane. Instead of feigning excitement or simply thanking her for the generosity and then asking if she’d kept the receipt, he threw a temper tantrum. Ms. Young promptly punched him in the face and set to pack her bags. Blom attempted to block her exit and after she hit him several more times he seized her by the hair and dragged her down the stairs. The police were called and both of them were arrested when the police noticed that they were both bruised.
PlayStation 3 Decline 19% in November

The US market hasn’t been a good one for the PlayStation 3 at the end of this year. Sales in November declined 19% compared to the previous month. The competition did a lot better. Nintendo Wii sales have doubled while the Xbox 360 sales have gone up 8%. December will probably follow the same trend for all three but we’ll get back to you on that when we have the numbers. Sony has planned to sell 10 million consoles by the end of the fiscal year ending in March 2009. Will the number be achieved? Sony says that the console’s year to date sales have risen 60% and it stays confident the quota will be met. What if Sony lowered the price to achieve that performance?
Store Displays a Wii Knockoff

If you ask me I prefer original ideas but knockoffs exists because other people do buy them. Like the MiWi banner here. The device in the picture is a Wii clone. There’s no doubt about it.
What does the MiWi feature? Well there’s no spec’s sheet there but from what we can observe there’s no disc drive present which means that games are already pre-loaded. The number 41 on the package might indicate the total number of games available. There are two controllers standing by the console. One of them is a Wiimote clone but I guess you were expecting this already.
What’s the price of this monstrosity? Does anyone actually care? Go get yourself the original!

WeeP5 Perfect for Your Shooting Wii Games

The Wii remote isn’t particularly appealing for first person shooters is it now? But a WeeP5 Wiimote gun will be better suited for those particular games.
This remote resembles an MP5 gun with the full setup of a Wii remote. The B button is the trigger and the A button is under the foregrip. 1 and 2 are on opposites sides near the front while the D-pad and Wii remote are on the left hand side. The +, – and Home buttons are on the top above the ammo clip. You know what’s the best of all? You can manufacture your own WeeP5. Just follow the instructions here.
Nintendo Wii Has an Official Lens Cleaning Kit in the USA

The Wii Lens Cleaning Kit has been available exclusively in Japan for a while now. But now the kit has become available in the USA too. It’s available for just $10 so go ahead and get it now. It will definitely help you clean that lens of yours. And trust me, if you’ve played enough games on your console, a good clean is exactly what it needs. And in case you’re neither in the USA or Japan you might consider using a regular DVD player cleaning kit. It will probably perform similarly.

PlayStation 3 to Cost Less to Produce?

We all know that getting a Wii or an Xbox is cheaper than purchasing a PS3. Why is that? Well Sony’s jewel costs $448.73 to produce and its most expensive setup is sold at $399. Which means Sony is hardly making any money off the gaming platform. And they weren’t making any money in the past either. Back when a PS3 was sold at $599 the building build for one PS3 rose as high as $840. Should Sony focus on a new generation? Should they get some spies inside that Nintendo building? Nintendo is certainly making money of the Wii, and especially now when Santa is delivering lots of gaming consoles everywhere in the world.

Nyko Can Charge 4 Wii Controllers in the Charge Station Quad

How many people in your home play a Wii game? How many times do you play multiplayer games? If you have at least two Wii controllers in your home and you’re considering getting more then you should definitely ask Santa to check out Nyko’s Charge Station Quad and bring one to you this Christmas.
It’s a charger that will be able to charge up to four controllers simultaneously. That means you’ll never stop playing with three controllers charging while you’re draining the power in the fourth one. The Charge Station Quad comes pretty cheap to. Santa needs just $50 to get one under your tree this year.

Wii and DSi Top Sellers in Japan
Everyone’s got their own guesses about which gaming companies will suffer most due to the global recession. Some point fingers at Sony since the PS3 is by far the most expensive console and its appeal as a Blu-ray player is slackening. Others say that it’s going to be Nintendo who suffers given that the casual gaming crowd are likely to be the first people to stop buying video games.
Whoever your money is on, it seems that for now Nintendo is doing fine. The company is not only holding their lead as a the biggest seller in Japan, they’re pulling even further ahead. The DSi is still the top dog and sold 173,693 systems last week. The Wii has shot up by over 40,000 units which put it at second place, ahead of the PSP. The DS Lite also sold over thirty thousand units, which puts sales for the DS overall at above the two hundred thousand mark. Unsurprisingly Wii and DS games took the top ten software slots.
PS3 Not Getting Cheap Until Next Summer

The PS3 is currently the most expensive of the big three. Wiis and 360s are cheaper and they currently selling much better than the PS3. Well the Wii is surely getting more sales than its competitors. Here’s what David Reeves says:
No, we are not going to go down in price on PS3 – neither are we going to go down in price on PS3 in spring time either. Absolutely not, whatever you might have heard to the contrary. Our strategy is very much value added.
That doesn’t mean we are going to add pieces of software – we might add original ideas to the machine. What we want is to make the machine value for money.
I don’t know about you guys but I’d really prefer a cheaper price for those PS3 out there.

Classic Puzzle Adventure Coming to Wii, DS
In the early incarnations of video games while kids were playing simple platformers like Mario Bros. and Joust, many gamers were getting their fix from games that were uncomplicated in terms of visuals but valued brainpower and logic over quick reflexes and careful timing. These were often text-based and relied on detailed descriptions. When graphics and the mouse came along game designers melded them together to create a genre that still delights many gamers today: the point-and-click adventure. While occasionally a puzzle would simply be a frustrating pixel hunt there were many classics known for their complex yet enjoyable puzzles and deep, intricate storylines.
One classic, Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars, is getting a resurrection and a bit of a facelift. The game will be brought to both the Wii and the DS with this new ‘directors cut’ version building on the original with extra narrative and puzzles. The game will also feature facial animations done by Dave Gibbons, the man behind the art of the Watchmen graphic novel.
Players unfamiliar with the story will begin as a photojournalist who witnesses the murder of a Parisian statesman and eventually get drawn into the web of a vast conspiracy that has its roots in medieval legend. Both versions are due out in March of next year.
Star Wars Wii Mod Anyone?

What’s the color of your Wii? White right? Would you like it to be anything else? How about a custom Star Wars Wii mod? Would that help you perform better in games?
The Wii above is available on eBay and it has a whooping $500 starting price. It also comes with a red LED Wiimote and nunchuck and a copy of Star Wars. Now I love Star Wars about as much as any other guy. But it’s not essential for me to own a Wii mot with Star Wars all over it.

2008: Best Gaming Year Ever?

Last year was touted as the best year for gaming. There was an unusually high amount highly anticipated games such as Halo 3, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and Bioshock, just to name a few. The idea was that after Halo 3, the would be a steady flow of triple-A titles that would keep gamers occupied for the rest of the year, and then some. So what happened? The article will examine several reasons why 2007 didn’t quite live up to the hype and why 2008 will take the title as best year ever for gaming.
