The above pictured stand, entitled the T-Standee Charger, is a secure docking station that allows users to view their DSi from a horizontal or vertical position all while charging the devicce.

The T-Standee Charger is expected to sell for €12.99 with no word on when we’ll be seeing this thing statside. Then again, you can probably find something that serves the exact same purpose with a little bit of searching.

Remember Spore? The game that everyone thought was going to change the way we looked at the gaming industry in general? Yeah, well EA has finally taken the time to reveal some details regarding the game’s Galactic Adventures expansion that was first announced back in January.

In Galactic Adventure players will take the rank of Space Captain as they adventure the galaxy (ironic huh?) unlocking and collecting 30 new “game-changing items and accessories”.

And what’s a game without some sort of achievements, right? Players will be given a Creature Card, that showcases their ranking and accomplishments.

Yep, that’s all we have to go by for now, no release date or pricing.

You thought that World of Warcraft was addicting enough in its current state? Try this on for size — It was recently announced that PopCap, creator of popular games like Bejeweled, has released an official Peggle add-on for Blizzard’s World of Warcraft.

Yep, you heard me right; Peggle in World of Warcraft, 2 of the arguably most addicting games combined into 1 convenient package.

You’ll apparently be able to face off in Peggle against other World of Warcraft players and use the outcome to determine who can claim loot drops. Don’t worry though, the regular game is there except the stages are based on locations from World of Warcraft.

You can snag the download here.

Although the Xbox 360 initially supported HD DVD through an external drive, Microsoft has made it quite clear that they have no objections to supporting the Blu-ray format if it were a “profitable” move. So, every other month or so, we get a quote or some rumors that imply that we will see some sort of Blu-ray compatible Xbox 360. This month isn’t an exception. According to a report
both Toshiba (the manufacturer for the failed HD DVD) and Samsung have been contracted to make an external Blu-ray drive for the Xbox 360.

“Toshiba-Samsung Storage Technology Corp., a joint venture between Samsung Electronics and Toshiba Corp., has been contracted to manufacture external Blu-ray disc drives for Microsoft Xbox 360 game console. While the exact specifications of the product are unknown, it is rumoured that Microsoft aims at $100 – $150 price-point for the device in order to compete against Sony PlayStation 3 with Xbox 360 + external Blu-ray drive combination.”

To be honest, I really don’t think that the Xbox 360 needs a Blu-ray drive. If they are serious enough about competing with Sony, then they can add more HD videos to the video store. The PlayStation 3 isn’t convenient because it plays Blu-ray, it is convenient that it plays Blu-ray disks right out of the box with no extra cost or any additional hardware. Microsoft has nothing to lose by creating an add on like this, but I don’t think it will be successful, or at least not significant.
