Alice Sequel in the Works
Finally, the prayers of those who’ve been asking God for a new sequel to Alice have been answered! EA today announced that American McGee is working on a sequel to his 2000 action-horror game; the publisher will release it through the EA Partners label.
McGee’s studio Spicy Horse is working on the game for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. No release date was given.
An Alice in Wonderland movie is currently being developed by Tim Burton, which is set to star Johnny Depp. It is not known if these projects are attached in any way.
New Grimm Episode Available
Available on GameTap now is The Girl Without Hands, the latest episode in American McGee’s Grimm, the episodic series based on a grim take on Grimm’s famous fairy tales.
As usual, this episode is free as an ad-supported release for the next 24 hours after which it goes back to regular pricing.
The episode tells the story of a girl who is forced to cry when the devil comes to claim her soul – he leaves her to be collected at a later time. However, the devil has more tricks up his sleeves, and the girl is reminded of the popular phrase “an arm for an arm.”
