Thanks to Major Nelson we now know that the Band Hero demo has officially made its way onto Xbox Live. For how much you ask? Nothing, it’s a demo, duh.

But anyways, you’ll be able to play both the Party Play mode and Sing-Along mode with 3 different tracks to play along with:

  • Taylor Swift – Picture to Burn
  • Katrina & The Waves – Walking on Sunshine
  • Finger Eleven – Paralyzer

The full, retail version of Band Hero will hit store shelves on November 3rd for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii and Nintendo DS.

If you are fed up with your stock Wii Guitar Hero controllers Logitech has an offering for you — What you see above is Logitech’s Wireless Guitar Controller for Wii that will hit retailers in October for $199. This controller reportedly has a maple neck, metal frets and a rosewood fingerboard, making for a true to the art experience.

Additionally, there is also the Logitech Wireless Drum Controller for Wii that will also ship in October for $229. This controller apparently uses hardware similar to that found in professional digital drum sets so the quality is just as high as the above mentioned guitar controller.

Either way, you’re still getting the same gameplay value from these controllers as you are from the controllers that ship with the game. But, if you have to have the best, these are up there.

Enter, Band Hero DS which is exactly what you woudl expect, Band Hero for the Nintendo DS. The game will be developed by Activision owned Vicarious Visions and will come bundled with a guitar peripheral along with a never before seen drum peripheral.

For gamers who liked the previous Guitar Hero DS games, this is for you. As for the rest of you, move along.

Didn’t know that Activision was gearing up release a game entitled Band Hero? Yeah well, I wish I didn’t either.

Anyways, Activision has recently released a trailer for none other than Band Hero. But wait, didn’t they add full band support to Guitar Hero: World Tour? Yes, but it’s Activision we’re talking about here.

Anyways, the trailer doesn’t show much other than what we’d except (band play) but it does show us a few songs that will be included in the game.
