Rare has recently announced that 4J Studios’ Xbox Live Arcade port of popular N64 title, Banjo-Tooie is set to hit the service on April 29th.

The port will feature a “super-charged frame rate” along with a Stop ‘N’ Swop that was absent from the original release.

If you’re a real Banjo-Kazooie fan, you’ll be happy to hear that Rare will also release an appropriately themed Gamerpic pack for 80 Microsoft Points, featured above. Yippee!

Whether or not you liked the recently released Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts there is no question about it, the minute Banjo-Kazooie, and it’s succesor Banjo-Tooie, hit the shelves for the N64 they became instant classics.

Well, for those of you who didn’t receive the honor to grow up in the era of N64 (or if you just want to give the game another run through) now get a chance to play Banjo-Tooie.

While Microsoft originally predicted the game would hit sometime early 2009, Rare has recently refuted that claim giving the game an April release (re-release?) date.

A yet unannounced sum of Microsoft Points will get you theĀ Banjo-Tooie Xbox Live Arcade port that will feature newly remastered graphics (to an extent) and improved framerate. Sign me up!
