Japanese PSN to get Turbografx-16 titles

Sony has recently made it known that classic games other than previous Playstation titles have made their way to the Japanese Playstation Network.
The classic games in question are those found on the Turbografx-16 such as Bomberman ‘94, Sengoku Mahjong, Devil’s Crush and New Adventure Island all priced at 600 yen or about $6. Furthermore, all 4 titles will be playable on both the PSP and Playstation 3.
With Nintendo’s Virtual Console service proving to be quite profitable, it’s no surprise that Sony too would hop on the bandwagon to offer such games. Let’s just hope the same services gets implemented into the American Playstation Network.

Bomberman Used In Supposed Anti-Nazi Threat
Though on occasion films like Valkyrie point out that there were some Nazis who opposed HItler’s racist ideology the fascist group is a popular punching bag for the media. Set a war movie in Vietnam or Korea and it’s impossible to escape the political and social ramifications of those conflicts, yet when you set a film in the European Theatre of World War II you’ve got an instant clean conscience for most viewers.
It seems the Nazi movement lives on to this day and not just in the thuggery and ignorance of Neo Nazi skinheads, but in a legitimate political party in Germany. Recently a German ex-politician was arrested for supposedly threatening the Nazis via a protest poster on a website. The poster depicts the classic hero Bomberman holding aloft a cake with a burning fuse and text that reads “No cakewalk for Nazis.”
While I doubt many people would lose sleep over actual violence being perpetrated against a group that still clings to such outmoded, racist beliefs which ultimately culminate in genocide, they still have legal rights and protections under the laws of civilized nations. Ironically if the sort of fascist government that Nazi Germany had was still in place violence against Nazis might go unpunished.
Man threatens to bomb Bomberman studio, irony ensues

It seems a 29-year-old Japanese man by the name of Takao Ike recently threatened to blow up Hudson Soft’s studios. You know, the developers of the popular Bomberman franchise.
Well Hudson Soft was none too please with this and after recieving 11 threatening emails, decided to call the police which resulted in the mans arrest.
But why did he threaten to bomb the studio? He said he wasn’t happy with the games they were putting out, stating that he “post his demands for the games, but the games didn’t improve.”
