Activision announces Science Papa

Yeah, it’s pretty hilarious that Activision decided to name their upcoming Wii/Nintendo DS title Science Papa considering there is already an extremely popular Cooking Mama series. Oh well, I guess they technically aren’t infringing on any copyright laws.
Activision says that Science Papa will allow players to join a research team whos job is to work through 30+ experiments (mini-games). David Oxford, an exec over at Activision, had this to say:
“With Science Papa, we’re taking real-world elements of science and giving players the chance to interact with them in safe and creative ways. While the focus here is clearly family fun, the game can stimulate interest and discussion about science.”
Science Papa is apparently set for a July release date.

Cooking Mama sells 4 million in North America
That’s not a typo. The cooking game — “simulator”, if you will — has sold over 4 million copies in North America, publisher Majesco proudly revealed. The are a total of five Cooking Mama games, and Majesco revealed as well that the Wii version, titled Cooking Mama World Kitchen, would be lowered to $29.99 — making all Cooking Mama games under $30.
Majesco recently released Gardening Mama, and there a plans of releasing a “Crafting Mama” game as well.
‘Crafting Mama’ trademarked

First Cooking Mama, then Gardening Mama, now Crafting Mama? If a recent trandmark by the series’ developer Cooking Mama Ltd. is any indication, arts and crafts may be Mama’s next venture.
There’s no confirmation or official press releases stating that there will actually be a game entitled Crafting Mama so no details or anything to go along with the recent trademark findings. Altough, I’m sure you can guess what the gameplay will entail.
What’s next? Cleaning Mama?
