Pre-order Modern Warfare 2 at Amazon and get $10 credit

July 16th, 2009 1 Comment   Posted in FPS, PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360

On Tuesday, we got the prices for the Modern Warfare 2 Hardened Edition and it turns out that we’re not so happy about the impact these special editions are having on our wallets. And who can forget about the Prestige Edition, complete with night vision goggles, which costs $150.

Fortunately, CheapyD from CheapAssGamer brings us some relief with a promotion over at Amazon, offering $10 store credit for reserving any of the versions.

So, if you’re really planning on investing on those goggles, Amazon is probably the best way to get the game. If you’re looking for even more of a bargain, then you’re going to want to combine it with a 50% off trading promotion, along with Amazon Prime.

GRID 50% off on Steam for the weekend

July 10th, 2009 No Comments   Posted in Driving, PC

In case you’re itching for a bargain, Steam is offering Race Driver: GRID for a nice 50% off its regular price, bringing the total down to a nice $14.99.

A sequel for GRID will also be coming out this September, so if you want to take a look at the series before you buy it for the full retail price, this is probably a good idea.

Personally, I have played the game and found it to be one of the better racing experiences of this generation. You can grab the download over at the Steam Store, however, the offer will only be available for the weekend.
