Splinter Cell: Conviction demo on March 18th

Just 3 days ago Ubisoft officially let us know that there would be a Splinter Cell: Conviction demo but didn’t tell us when it would be dropping. Now, reports have surfaced that say the wo demo will be made available this Thursday, March 18th.
Ubisoft has been careful while pciking th eocntent with the demo so that they can tease gamers but not give away too much of the plot. This means they will have both Stealth and action-oriented gameplay elements included in the dmeo.
If, however, you’re waiting for the full game, that’s coming out on April 13th for the Xbox 360 and PC.

Like we said before, this demo will feature a full 35 square miles for gamers to explore. Sounds nuts, I’ll have to check it out.

Just Cause 2 demo on March 4th

Starting on March 4th players will be able to access the Just Cause 2 demo through the Playstation Network, Steam and Xbox Live. This demo includes a full 35 square miles of the Lautan Lama Desert for players to explore.
Jam packed into these 35 quare miles are towns, mountains, military outposts and, of course, missions. Players will be able to embark on these missions using various weapons and vehicles situated around the map. What’s most exciting is the inclusion of a full multi-stage mission that has gamers infilitrating a base and undertaking a car chase in the desert. Sounds pretty damn cool.
The real game will be out on March 23rd.

Heavy Rain demo on February 11th

Yesterday we let you know the future of Heavy Rain in terms of DLC as detailed by one of the game’s developers. However, until we actually get our hands on it we can’t possibly know if we’ll even want the DLC.
Luckily, Sony has just let us know that a demo for the game will be hitting the European Playstation Store on February 11th. Now, North American gamers need not get too upset as our sources tell us that Sony is likely to release a demo for our Playstation Store on the same day.
However, if the demo doesn’t drop on North American shores you can always wait until the game gets released on February 23rd.

Splinter Cell: Conviction’s February 23rd release date is quickly approaching which raised questions about a possible demo for the game. Well, nothing was said for a while until HipHopGamer sat down with a developer and asked him that exact question to which they responded:

Yup, that’s all we have to go by no details on the contents of the demo, whether it will include multiplayer, nothin’. Then again, January is next month so we won’t have to wait too long to find out.

No demo for Modern Warfare 2 in the works

Considering it’s massive scale (in terms of hype and such) you would think that Infinity Ward would want as much beta testing as possible for Modern Warfare 2 but it’s seems like they have got said testing covered in house.
A tweet posted up on Infinity Ward’s twitter today notified us of the unfortunate news:
@FTGDS No plan for a Demo before launch. The entire team is focused on polish all the way up to ship of the full game. (via @fourzerotwo)
Now if there are bugs in the game we can blame Infinity Ward instead of a careless beta tester. Woo!
