Best Buy Holds Video Game Clearance Sale
Best Buy is holding a large video game sale for most consoles like the Xbox 360, Playstation and Wii today. Prices have all been marked down to $9.99, a far cry from their original prices which started at $60.
Over 100 games are on sale, but if you don’t want to wade through the whole list, here’s a few recommendations. Xbox 360 owners could do a lot worse than C&C: Red Alert 3, Condemned 2, and Devil May Cry 4. On PS3, Pure, Guitar Hero 3, and Soul Calibur 4 are good choices. On the Wii, the selection’s not quite so good, but Samba de Amigo’s a great choice if you like off-beat rhythm games.
Just like the famed sales made by Circuit City some months back, you better get to Best Buy quick if you want to get hold of those games for a steal!

Devil May Cry PSP cancelled
Announced back in 2006, it has been literally years since we’ve heard anything about the Devil May Cry title for the PlayStation Portable.
Unfortunately, it turns out that the game has been cancelled, as revealed by Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu’s game release schedule. The game was removed from the listing, with a small note mentioning the game was canned.
While there is no official word from Capcom about the matter, it is safe to assume that the game will not be seeing light.

Sega says Bayonetta coming in Fall

The last we heard about Bayonetta was last year when they Sega announced that it would be coming sometime in 2009.
Well, they have lifted the veil slightly now stating that it will be coming Fall of this year. Shortly after the announcement Sony stepped in and listed the game on their European website tacking on an October release date.
Bayonetta comes to us from the creator of the Devil May Cry series, Hideki Kamiya, and will be released simultaneously on both the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Devil May Cry in Delight Over Shipping Numbers
No one can keep a good demon hunter down it seems, as Capcom today announced that the Devil May Cry franchise has shipped ten million copies worldwide.
The series debuted on the PS2 in 2001 and the latest version was released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 last year. Interestingly, the last game set a new record for the series by shipping over 2 million copies.
Capcom appears to be rolling in monies – the company recently announced that Street Fighter 4 had shipped more than 2 million copies and Resident Evil 5 over four million.
Devil May Cry 4 for PC will be “better”
Capcom’s popular hack-and-slash adventure series, Devil May Cry, will be heading to the PC on June 2nd with its fourth installment. However, the game itself won’t be a basic port of the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
Instead, this version will include two new modes, Legendary Dark Knight Mode, which means more enemies to fight, and Turbo Mode, which will make things a lot faster. The game will also run at a blazing fast 120fps, compared to 30fps on the console versions, and will support both DirectX9 and DirectX10. A demo will also be available before the full retail release of the game.
Playing a game like this on the keyboard isn’t exactly everyone’s cup of tea, so maybe a use of a 360 controller would be handy.
