EA confirms E3 protest was fake

EA has confirmed that the company hired a guerilla marketing agency to promote the new Dante’s Inferno game, which they did by hiring 20 unemployed folks — which there are aplenty of these days — to hold fake signs of protest, in order to generate buzz for a game no one really knows about.
Pathetic.
The Sims 3 gone gold

EA’s third installment of the hugely successful The Sims franchise has been completed and is in production, what the industry commonly calls “gone gold”.
The game is set for release in North America on June 2, both on Windows and OS X. A European release is followed shortly later, on June 5.
