Is your Santa a smart shopper or has he already gotten that Prince of Persia game? We’re hoping that he actually failed to get it yet as the game is now available for a whooping discounted price. It’s not $59.99 as it was at its launch two weeks ago. It only costs $39.99 in various GameStop locations. Better make sure your Santa knows about it.

And if you’re actually waiting for EndWar or Far Cry 2, these games also happen to cost just $39.99 and they are available for PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. This deals are also available at GameStop locations.

EndWar DLC, Patch Coming Today

A major patch and downloadable content for Tom Clancys EndWar is due out on Xbox Live today, with PS3 gamers getting it tomorrow.

The patch will expand the games multiplayer to a maximum of eight online players; this will allow 4v4 play in the skirmish and Theatre of War modes. Meanwhile, new content appears in the form of four new maps, three unit upgrades and 10 achievements/trophies for 800 Microsoft points ($10). The new maps will only be playable in skirmish mode.

Unfortunately for PS3 gamers, the multiplayer patch wont be releasing until next year, though the content should be available starting tomorrow.

Ubisoft Announces EndWar Bluetooth Headset Special Edition

The game is set to hit store shelves tomorrow but announcements from Ubisoft haven’t stopped yet. Their recent announcement is of the Special Edition of EndWar which includes a Bluetooth headset.

While the above picture is of the PS3 bundle, both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will ship with their console specific official Bluetooth headsets.

Price you ask? A cool $89.99, and again, the game is in stores TOMORROW. You would think Ubisoft would have announced this bundle a bit earlier to snag some preorders. Oh well, who doesn’t like surpries?

EndWar Goes Gold

Ubisoft has announced that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Tom Clancy’s EndWar has gone gold and entered manufacturing.

Developed by Ubisoft Shanghai, the game attempts to revolutionize real-time strategy gameplay through voice controls. A demo is now available for Xbox 360 owners.

EndWar will ship to retailers on November 4. A PC version is expected sometime after; PSP and DS versions are also in development.

EndWar Coming to DS, PSP

While the console versions are due out next month, and the PC a bit later, word comes that Ubisoft’s voice-controlled strategy game Tom Clancy’s EndWar is headed to the DS and PSP.

Moving to the handheld format, the game will change to turn-based strategy and will lose the voice-command feature present in the PC and console versions. As expected, the DS version will feature support for stylus controls.

The game will let players take control of US, European and Russian force in three campaigns, with a total of 30 missions. There will also be two-player multiplayer modes.

No release date was given for the handheld versions.

EndWar Coming to PC After Console Versions Due to Piracy

Having noted that a PC version of EndWar is likely, creative director Michael de Plater has now stated why they won’t be releasing the PC version of the game until after the console versions are out: PIRACY.

"To be honest, if PC wasn’t pirated to hell and back, there’d probably be a PC version coming out the same day as the other two," he said. "The level of piracy that you get with the PC just cannibalizes the others, because people just steal that version.”

“Piracy’s basically killing PC,” Plater plainly stated.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 editions of EndWar are scheduled for release November 7.

EndWar on PC?

Up until now Tom Clancy’s EndWar, the upcoming voice-controlled real-time strategy game, was only known to be in development for PS3 and Xbox 360. However, PC gamers can now take a load off their chest as Videogaming247 reports on the distinct possibility that a PC version of the game might be in development.

The site spoke to EndWar creative director Michael de Plater at a London event. He talked about his experience on PC RTS games at Creative Assembly, noting that EndWar is “in many ways, gameplay-wise, it’s a modern warfare, Tom Clancy version of Total War.”

When asked specifically about the possibility of a PC version: "Yeah, there’s no reason not to."

There you have it! The game is due out on PS3 and Xbox 360 early next month.
