Battlefront III Tech May Die With Free Radical
Did you see the leaked alpha footage of Star Wars: Battlefront IIIover the weekend? Like me, you might have been impressed by the technology behind the game that allowed players to fly directly from the ground to outer space without any cutscenes. However, that technology will die with the end of developer Free Radicals involvement in the project, according to Spong.
The site supposedly carries word from a former Free Radical employee who says: “It’s my understanding that the game’s been passed to a new developer, but the tech that allowed you to fly from the ground, to air, to orbit, to space dies with Free Radical’s involvement.”
The employee added that the new developer will be making it a cut-scene every time you want to transition from ground to space.
Battlefront IIIs current home is yet to be confirmed, though rumors point to Pandemic, creators of the original title.
Star Wars: Battlefront 3 Footage
Leaked game play footage of Star Wars: Battlefront III has surfaced. The footage was supposedly taken in November internal alpha meeting with the game’s former developer, Free Radical, in November. The quality is not exactly crystal clear, but this is one hell of a treat for fans who have been waiting for a sequel since 2005.
Battlefront III is rumored to be currently in development by Rebellion Developments for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC, and DS.

TimeSplitters 4: Busty Nun with Chainsaw vs. Zombies
Hoping to clock out the awesomeness meter, developer Free Radical has posted the first bits of concept art from the next entry in its popular first-person shooter series TimeSplitters.
"It’s funny, it’s frantic and it’ll do things you’ve never seen before! No, not naked girls, even better than that!," the studio wrote. "This game will take the first person shooter to gaming nirvana. Save the world or die laughing, Timesplitters 4 is coming to getcha!"
There is such a thing better than “naked girls”? No, I don’t think so, but TimeSplitters sure is better than most other things out there.
No release date or platforms were mentioned.
