Ratchet & Clank coming to LittleBigPlanet

Insomniac Games has recently let us know on their official Twitter account that we will be seeing a Ratchet & Clank DLC pack for LittleBigPlanet soon.

We’ll have to wait until the pack is officially announced before we mark this one down as definite but this is a pretty good hint at whats in store. Although, the words “bigger than mgs” sounds pretty good.

A Crack in Time Teaser, plus weapon contest

Insomniac Games has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time.  The game will take place after Quest for Booty, the series’ previous installment. So far, only speculation is as much as we’ll get as for who the character in the trailer is.

The game’s developer is also offering fans a contest to submit their own ideas for weapons that could be added into the game.You can enter into the Weapon Design Contest here. The winner will not only get their weapon included in the actual game, but he or she will also land a trip to the San Diego Comic-Con International.

A Crack in Time will be hitting stores sometime this fall on the PlayStation 3.

New Ratchet Game in 2009

ratchet new game 1UP reports of an image appearing at the end of Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty, a downloadable expansion for the platforming game, that incidates that Insomniac Games is planning a new entry in the series for Fall 2009.

The studio is currently wrapping up work on Resistance 2, the highly anticipated shooter, it is speculated that the game might see a full retail release rather than a downloadable installment like Quest for Booty.

Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty will be released on PlayStation Network next week.
