If you’ve been around since the original Playstation console there’s no doubt in my mind that you have played at least one Crash Bandicoot title. Well, Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin are the masterminds behind the popular series and founders of Naughty Dog, developer of said series.

Anyways, these guys have branched off and announced the founding of their latest development studio, Monkey Gods. The new studio is said to cater mostly towards the casual PC demographic but their debut title will be the introduction of Snood for the iPhone.

Snood has been around for over 10 years now with versions of the game being released for the PC, Mac, Gameboy Advance and even TI-83 and 84 graphing calculators. Yes, you will be addicted.

Sony has given word that a sixth installment of the Jak & Daxter series is coming out this fall. Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier is to be developed by High Impact Games, the same guys who are responsible for both Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters and Secret Agent Clark. The game takes place right where the trilogy left off.

The game will be released for both the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable. By the way, a next-generation Jak wouldn’t hurt anyone, Sony.
