Codemasters sent out word that its popular racing game Race Driver: GRID will receive downloadable content this fall.

Dubbed “8 Ball”, the DLC will offer two new multiplayer events and eight new cars. They are the McLaren F1 GTR, TVR Cerbera Speed 12, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, Honda S2000, Nissan GT-R (S-G2008), VW Nardo, Pontiac Firebird Trans AM and Volvo C30.

It will be available for the game’s PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, with the latter coming with four more achievements totalling a hundred points.

No release date or pricing details were given.
