Shadow Complex most downloaded single-player XBLA title

Epic Games announced today that Shadow Complex has officially become the most downloaded single-player Xbox Live Arcade title in history, having sold over 200,000 in the week after its release on August 19th. It also broke the record for being the most purchased title in one week’s time.
The side-scroller resembles classic titles such as Metroid and Castlevania, but with next-generation graphics. The game has been received very positively in the media.
If you haven’t already, Shadow Complex can be purchased for 1,200 Microsoft Points.

Buy all Xbox Live Summer of Arcade titles, get 800 Microsoft Points

Earlier this month we let you know that Xbox Live was gearing up to release a series of Xbox Live Arcade titles in a campaigned called the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade.
Well, it seems that these game’s haven’t been selling too well as Micrsoft has recently notified us of a new promotion. Apparantly, if you purchase all 5 games at $70 or 5600 Microsoft Points, Microsoft will thank you by giving you back 800 Micrsooft Points, or $10.
If you haven’t been paying attention, this list of games includes, ‘Splosion Man, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-shelled, Trials HD and Shadow Complex.
Xbox Live Summer of Arcade lineup gets revised

Despite announcing a seemingly finalized lineup for the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade, Major Nelson has once again updated his blog, this time notifying us of a change.
Apparantly, instead of TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-shelled launching on July 22nd, ‘Splosion Man will instead take that spot with TMNT launching on August 5th.

July 22: ‘Splosion Man 800 Microsoft Points July 29: Marvel vs. Capcom 2 1200 Microsoft Points August 5: TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-shelled 1200 Microsoft Points August 12: Trials HD 1200 Microsoft Points August 19: Shadow Complex 1200 Microsoft
So, those looking to get their hands on ‘Splosion Man will be able to do so earlier than previously thought.
