11-year old kills 9-year old brother over video game arguement

Here’s a story that will raise some eyebrows concerning gun control — It seems that an 11-year old boy from northern Mississippi was playing with a computer game with his younger 9-year old brother whom he proceeded to beat pretty badly.
The discouraged 9-year old then proceeded to get their fathers shotgun which resulted in the two boys struggling to gain control of the shotgun. During the struggle the gun evidentally went off and hit the younger boy in the chest killing him.
This is truly a sad story but I wonder, what game were they playing and how badly did the younger boy get beaten that he felt the need to kill his older brother? And why didn’t the parents hide their gun?
