Brawl has been the single most anticipated Wii title since before it’s official announcement almost two years ago. The title was finally released, in America as well as Japan, a little over a week ago. So what does Nintendo have to show for it? According to a recent report, they actually have quite a lot. Not only does Nintendo sell approximately one hundred and twenty copies a minute (which means they sold under another hundred in the time it took to read this), but the game is the fastest selling Wii game ever. Wait, it gets even better. Not only is it the fastest selling Wii title, but Super Smash Bros. Brawl is in fact Nintendo’s fastest selling title to date, selling over 1.4 million in the U.S.A since the game launched. I might be going out on a limb here, but I think it’s likely that we’ll see a fourth title in the Super Smash Bros. series announced sooner or later.
