Super Smash Bros. Brawl in HD

It seems that a YouTube user by the name of renebarahona has taken the initiative and uploaded a bunch of videos displaying Super Smash Bros. Brawl in 720p.

Now you’re probably thinking to yourself, Nintendo didn’t include 720p output with the Wii. Well, that’s true but it doesn’t mean its games can’t be successfully rendered in an HD resolution.

This was accomplished using the Dolphin emulator for the PC. To really take in the full effect you’re probably going to want to click through on the above video and watch it in the true HD resolution. The little screen just doesn’t cut it.

Nintendo didn’t really seem to like Europe, as Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been out in Japan and the United States for a while now. And if such deep sleep wasn’t delightful enough, a mass of peaches fall from the sky, which can be eaten to regain health. So Peach is faced with two options: Bash the hell out of her unconscious rivals, or indulge in a feast of fruit by her own name.

Yeah, he’s pretty small, but he’s an Assist Trophy so it’s quite fitting. Little Mac reenters the ring in Brawl, having been Champion in Mike Tyson’s Punch Out on NES. Regardless of his small stature, Little Mac seems to be quite the fighter, being able to take on enemies twice his size. He’ll dash, jab, then uppercut the enemy into the air, check out the pictures after the jump to see him pwn Ike.
