Valve claims Steam makes DRM obsolete

Right after Microsoft announced new updates to their Games for Windows Live platform, Valve had a few things to say about its own platform, Steam. Valve said in a press release that much of the “new” Games for Windows Live features are already available on Steam, adding that they’re always looking for “new ways to make PC games easier to create and better for customers to experience” on Steam.
Steam is one of the most popular digital distribution game services in the world, ahead of Games for Windows Live and EA’s Link in both market share and technology.
