Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor launches, so does launch trailer
Relic Entertainment and THQ are proud to announce the release of the Company of Heroes standalone expansion-pack Tales of Valor.
THQ has released a launch trailer to coincide with the games release, included above.
Tales of Valor adds new units along with additional maps and new multiplayer modes. The most prominent being ‘Invasion’ in which you are pitted against wave after wave of an increasingly difficult opposition something never before seen in the CoH series.
Tales of Valor Gone Gold
Publisher THQ today announced that the Tales of Valor expansion for Company of Heroes is off to manufacturing and will hit stores on April 9.
The stand alone expansion adds three campaigns and three new multiplayer modes. New maps and units are also added to the WWII strategy game.
While it does not require the past two entries in the series, the expansion will interface with them so that owners of all have “complete access to the battles of World War II.”
New Company of Heroes Expansion?
Online retailer Amazon has posted listings for a new Company of Heroes expansion titled “Tales of Valor”, prompting speculation that an add-on for the WW2 real-time strategy series is on its way.
The add-on is priced at $29.99, identical to the cost of the previous standalone expansion “Opposing Fronts”. The listing also lists a tentative release date for the game: March 1, 2009.
No other details on the title were offered. THQ is yet to officially comment on the matter.
