Crysis Wars Summer Trial next month
Crytek has announced via their Monthly Update feature that a “Crysis Wars Summer Trial” will be starting next month, allowing players to try out Crysis Wars for free. Competitions and giveaways will be held throughout the trial, so even more incentive has been thrown out there for you. No word on an exact date.
For those of you who are already Crysis fans, a 3vs3 PowerStruggle Tournament, powered by Multiplay, has been detailed, along with an interesting interview with Senior Sound Designer Florian Fusslin.

Crysis Wars trial launched, Crysis Maximum Edition en route
Just as previously reported, the trial for Crysis Wars has officially went live today. The will will run until April 17th and will allow players to play both online multiplayer along with LAN multiplayer.
That’s not all as Crytek has went ahead and announced the entrance of Crysis Maximum Edition marketed towards latecomers on the Crysis scene, hitting May 5th. Included in the Maximum Edition is Crysis, Crysis Warhead, and Crysis Wars priced at an honest $39.99.
Honestly though, Crytek, will all of your games have titles that are just variations of “Crysis“?

Age of Conan trial now available
Taking a tip from Blizzard, Funcom is now giving players a chance try out Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures for seven days, free of charge. If you decide to register for the trial via FilePlanet, you’ll grab another seven days of gametime, along with an exclusive in-game item.
Players who register also get a chance to win one of ten lifetime accounts, and one year accounts for the game. So even if you already play the game, signing up wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Crysis Wars trial next week
Crytek’s Official Modding Portal has given word that a new trial period for Crysis Wars is on the way. Begining April 9th, players will be able to access both LAN and online multiplayer modes for the game. Access to the editor will also be included with the trial client.

Spore Creature Creator Trial in June
Everyone has been eagerly waiting for Will Wright’s Spore, which is expected to land on shelves on September 7th in North America, and September 5th in Europe. The game puts you in control of the evolution of a single species throughout several different phases of life.
In the mean time, however, Maxis will be releasing a free trial version of the Creature Creator. The software will allow players to create, you guessed it, creatures. It will contain around 25% of all of the available creature parts of the full retail game. The trial software will be included in the SimCity Box, which is slated for a June release. Alternatively, you can download the trial separately on the official website around the same time.
