Overlord II demo hits PC, PS3
If you’ve been looking to get your hands on Overlord II but just can’t wait until its June 23rd release date you are in luck as a demo for the game has hit both the PC and PS3.
Xbox 360 gamers have had the chance to get their paws all over Overlord II as the demo was released on that platform last week.
Sure, the game looks cool, especially after watching the above trailer, but will Overlord II deliver? I guess I’ll have to go download the demo and check it out.
Overlord 2 Announced; Also Coming to Wii and DS
Codemasters and developer Triumph Studios announced today that fantasy action game Overlord will receive a sequel set for release next year. In development for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, the game – simply dubbed Overlord 2 – promises “epic battles, all new Minion play mechanics, stunningly detailed new visuals and a fresh theme.”
The publisher also announced that the franchise is heading to the Wii and DS as well. Scheduled for release sometime next year, the game, dubbed Overlord Dark Legend, will be an all-new action game for the Wii featuring minion control through the Wii Remote. Overlord Minions, the DS title, will be a puzzle action game. Both these games are being worked on by Climax Studios.
